Black Baza coffee enables coffee producers to enjoy secure and stable livelihoods and strengthen coffee farming practices that conserve biodiversity. Coffee farmers grow coffee under the shade of forest trees. Conservation planning is ongoing, but the goal is to maintain 60-80% tree canopy and a minimum of 100 trees and 20 species of native tree species per acre.
